Jennifer Armitage

Jennifer set up LAMP in 2014 in response to growing demand for economic evaluations to improve the impact of international development assistance spend. She is committed to working with public sector and non-profit organisations to enhance the value of their work and has worked with many government and non-government organisations to improve the effectiveness of their services.

Previously, Jennifer worked as a Senior Manager in the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) before moving to Nigeria in 2011 to work on a health systems strengthening programme. Combining strong analytical skills with research and facilitation expertise, she has helped organisations to improve their use of resources to achieve results.

Jennifer holds an MSc in Social Policy Research from the London School of Economics and MA (Oxon) in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford. She has continued her professional development with the Health Economics Research Centre, University of Oxford, Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and Harvard Center of International Development.
